Need help with obedience training, fearful or aggressive behavior modification, socialization, or maybe just some tips on house training your new puppy? You've come to the right place! Here at Tay's K9 Management and Obedience training, I use positive reinforcement to curb a dog's seemingly "naughty" behavior to being a more well mannered family companion. I am a positive reinforcement trainer and an ABC Certified Dog Trainer (ABCDT-L2). Do not let the title I go by confuse you! In simple terms, this means I do not use, nor condone the use of prong collars, choke chains, and e-collars (shock collars). I use treats and real life rewards to praise my students when they are succeeding in a lesson. Don't worry, I will never punish a dog with any kind of aversive or medieval looking tool. Don't wait when it comes to training, the longer you put it off, the worse it will get! I can help with all sorts of behaviors, regardless of breed, age, sex and size. It doesn't matter to me if it's one dog or a whole family, I will always give my all to help those in need to keep the peace! I am now officially accepting clients for board and train for obedience, socializing, or starting a new puppy off on the right paw. If you are interested in signing your pup up for a short stay with K9Tay, then please feel free to read over the Board & Train Agreement and training questionnaire.
*Requirements for acceptance* All pups of any age MUST be safe around small furry animals (ferrets, cats, bunnies, etc). I cannot take in aggression cases at this time, but I am always available for private lessons! Please reach out with any questions!
How Do We Get Started?

You email me any questions or concerns you have about your dog's training or behavior.

We schedule a day and time that works with your schedule, including weekends and evenings.

I travel to your home address, we set up a Skype session, or we can meet at a nearby park depending on the nature of the training your dog requires. (needs help training in public with distractions, working with other dogs/humans, etc.) I will work with you and your pet(s) for 1-2 hours depending on how long you want the session to last. When you feel you are ready to move on in your training journey, just reach out and we can set up another session at your convenience.
